Little Update
In Fort Collins now, came up to attend Ryan's grandmother's memorial service. Was a sad, but lovely, service. As they say, nothing like weddings and funerals to get a family together.
Calliope travelled very well. She slept nearly the whole way through. Clementine, on the other hand... we arrived at 1:30am, thinking we'd be in Denver by 11:30pm. Clementine couldn't sleep, then was up at 2:30 again, until Ryan drove her around in the car. We were next door to a building under construction, with a security guard driving around. He thought Ryan was crazy. Clementine slept until... 6:30 maybe? Yarg. She has been a trooper, even though we've deprived her of a normal night's sleep or nap for 4 days.
Calliope started smiling 2 days ago. She's not handing them out willy-nilly, but there have been a few definite smiles. Yay! Prizes!
Clementine is loving having so many people to hang out with, Grandma and Grandpa Brown, Aunt Wendy, her new cousin Ethan, cousin Angela, Mike and Levi... Clementine has also been playing with Kimber and Kenna, Todd and Jessica's kids. We went out to dinner. 4 adults and 4 kids. Yegads. I need more sanitized expletives.
Has been fun comparing the littlest one to her cousin Ethan, 1 month older, and Felix, Brenna's new baby who is a week older. We have a tiny little baby here!
