Poor sicky-poo
So poor Clementine had roseola, which gave her a terrible fever for three days and then a rash for three days now.
The fever days weren't so bad, except that it seemed high (typical) and she doesn't really get sick (knock wood) so we (I) get a bit anxious about it. But luckily we have a friend whose baby had roseola recently and so we knew what to expect and that it's ok. During her fever, she was quite sleep and snuggly and would sit and snuggle through a whole movie. Now that she has a rash, she seems to feel much worse, which is really hard on Ryan, because the only word out of her mouth is, "Mama, mama, mama, mama, mama, mama, mama, mama, mama, mama, mama." Lots of crying and unhappiness and lack of appetite. While this is interesting to see because Ryan is her primary caregiver )so that mama thing seems to be hardwired), it makes it tough to soothe her. But this morning she awoke sleepy but pretty much herself, smiling and playing.
>Whew<
